Hello Parents/Guardians!
This interactive game that I gave your child the link to go and play is completely educational and related to their learning. The expectation in the curriculum that it compares and relates to is "represent, compare, and order fractional amounts with unlike denominators, including proper and
improper fractions and mixed numbers, using a variety of tools" which is found in the Number Sense and Numeration strand of the Math Curriculum Document. Feel free to check it out and give it a shot, it is fun and more importantly educational to helping your child practice their fraction skills!

My 3 Favorite Sites!
Hey Students!
I am going to share with you three of my favorite sites that I visit most often, actually pretty close to everyday! They are very helpful and great resources for me to use to help plan more interactive lessons. Check them out!
Aplus Math-www.aplusmath.com
I really like this resource because it allows for students (such as you!) to go in and practice the different parts of math to improve your skills. As well for me as a teacher gives me ideas and resources that I could do and use with you in class. It is a great tool and personally I think it is pretty fun to do! Check it out!
Twitter-www.twitter.com
I use twitter to try and stay connected with the world and what is going on, I follow many educators that post links to great resources to be used in the classroom. Also to keep up with the news as well.
Food Network-www.foodnetwork.com
I use this so much! I have to admit one of my favorite things to do is to cook. I love to find new ways to cook, and different dishes that I can try at home. Not only is cooking one of my favorite things to do, my second favorite thing is to eat the food!
Hope you enjoy checking these sites out! You wont regret it!

Welcome Students and Parents
Welcome to my technology blog! My name is Ms Robinson, and this blog will be used and addressed for my grade 6 class. Students and parents feel free to follow this blog and keep updated with resources and ideas that will be posted throughout this blog to demonstrate ways technology can be used to learn in the classroom. Not just only in the classroom but to be used to learn through all of our subjects! I am very excited for this year because we will be focusing on learning more with technology in all of our subjects! Moving more into a blended learning environment and moving away from just technology integration, how exciting! Hope you Enjoy!
